We will offer certain upgraded designs that you might not have seen or used. For instance, we might include a fillet, or a thin frame placed directly around the artwork, but within the larger frame. Or we might put two frames together, called stacking, to achieve a unique look. In the process, we will guarantee our design. Your complete satisfaction is important to us.
We will discuss your options for glazing, which is the glass or acrylic material covering the artwork. There are many variations including regular clear glass, anti-reflective (chemically coated), non-glare (acid etched), and conservation clear glass or acrylic (specially formulated to filter UV rays).
During the framing process, our experienced framer will use high quality materials to preserve and protect your piece of art. We use only acid-free mats. This way, if you remove the art from the frame at some point in the future, it should be in the same condition as at the time of framing-no yellowing or deterioration.
We will mount your artwork properly. Our drymount process bonds artwork to a board to prevent the piece from bubbling or looking wavy. This process is most appropriate for posters and most photographs. Pieces of any value will not be drymounted since the process is irreversible and can greatly affect any resale value. Hinging, where the art hangs freely, or archival corners are recommended for original artwork, delicate photographs and other irreplaceable items.
Extra services don't stop after placing an order. When you pick up completed framing, we will help you carry it to the car and load it to prevent dings and scratches. We can suggest a professional installation service for heavy items or frames to be hung in awkward locations. Delivery service is also available if needed.
